Universal Pre-K (UPK) is a public program that provides free early childhood education for 4-year-olds, helping children build foundational skills in learning, social development, and school readiness. It reduces costs for families while ensuring all children—regardless of income—have access to quality early education that supports long-term success in school and beyond.
